Cheick Tidiane Seck — Jazz legend and inspiration for a new generation

Mali has one of the most vibrant music scenes in Africa. Jazz is thriving and the Master of Malian music, Cheick Tidiane Seck, regularly introduces new talent and launches international careers. Among them is Sandra Nkaké, a Cameroonian who has made it onto the international stage. She joined Cheick's band Groove Killersat a very young age in the 90s. Three years ago Cheick Tidiane Seck launched a Jazz festival to keep the music playing.
